My name is DovilÄ—, and I have been caring for your four-legged best friends for over 7 years. Since obtaining my City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Dog Grooming in 2018, I have managed a number of salons and also owned my own. It has been a pleasure to meet and pamper so many beautiful dogs during that time!
I believe that pet's well-being has to be the top priority and every dog deserves a safe, loving environment where they can feel comfortable and cared for. I treat each furry friend with compassion, patience and ensure that they have a positive grooming experience. No dog is the same, therefore no groom should be the same. Ivy's Dog Grooming offers the following services to ensure your pets are always healthy and beautiful. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure which service is suitable for your dog's breed.
Full Groom
From £45
Our full grooming service includes an initial consultation to discuss your dog's grooming needs and expectations. We start the groom with a warm bath using carefully selected shampoo to suit your dog's coat and skin type from the Peanut & Pickle luxury shampoo range. Next, the hair is blow-dried and any knots brushed out/removed. Your dog is then clipped and scissored, nails are trimmed, and ears are cleaned/plucked if required. The groom is finished with a spritz of beautiful scent.
Hand-stripping
£40 per hour
Suitable for wire and silky coat type breeds such as Terriers and Spaniels. Please note that a consultation is required to assess whether hand-stripping is a suitable grooming procedure for your dog's coat and temperament.
Bath & Tidy
From £40
Highly recommended to maintain a clean and knot-free coat in between grooming appointments, or simply a helping hand after those unexpectedly muddy walks. (Please note this service is not possible on matted coats)
Puppy Introduction
From £35
Puppy sessions are an essential part of your puppy's training and development as regular grooming will be a vital part of their wellbeing for life. Each session includes getting your puppy used to being bathed, brushed and blow-dried. We will also give them a light hygiene trim (if necessary) and cut the nails. Available to puppies up to 6 months old once they have been vaccinated.
De-shedding
From £40
Even short-haired and double-coated breeds, such as French Bulldogs, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, and German Shepherds, benefit from grooming. De-shedding treatment includes a warm bath with a luxury Peanut & Pickle shampoo to suit your dog's coat and skin type/condition, blow dry with a blaster to loosen all that dead fur, followed by a good brush/de-shed using a variety of tools to suit your dog's coat type to get the remainder of the loose coat. Every de-shed procedure includes nail trimming, ear cleaning and perfume.
Nail Trimming
£12
Long claws are at risk of being caught during day-to-day activities, as well as causing incorrect foot placement, which can have a long-term effect on your dog's joint health. Regular nail trimming will help to avoid these problems and keep your dog comfortable. Nail trimming comes as standard with any groom. Nail trims ONLY are £12 per dog.

Hi, I'm Ivy!
I'm a 7.5 year old Romanian rescue and inspiration behind the business name (of course).
I have been very lucky as mum often takes me to the salon with her, where I get to meet lots of new friends and their humans. I do spend most of my time snoozing or simply watching my mum work because I know that once she finishes for the day, a nice, long walk awaits. My favourite things are carrots, chicken, cheese, beach walks, tennis balls and sleeping on nice clean pillows. Biggest dislikes - squirrels, taking baths and being told what to do.
